[0:05] <mascondante> I feel really stupid doing this but I tried sweet talking the Chromium guys into at least a binary. Idk I feel like I'm jumping rank and if anyone should ask it would be Element14 themselves. But the question never asked is always "no"

[0:46] <mascondante> Well the short answer is Pepper Flash is a closed source Adobe thing and Google's only hand involved in it is distributing it in their branded Chrome version of Chromium. The Chromium devs are nice so I didn't mind that much asking but I'm not talking to Adobe about anything. I got really annoyed with them when they dropped Android support.

[11:44] <sine0> ok a little thought here. I have an old pc which I am using as a server to minecraft. It does not have wake on lan which i wanted it
[11:45] <sine0> to have for remote turning on. I was thinking, seeing as the power button is just attached to 2 pins on the mother board, do you think i could do a GPIO project trickery to turn the computer on from my pi
[11:45] <sine0> and would it be a simple thing to do

[12:04] <gordonDrogon> yes....
[12:04] <gordonDrogon> however I'd use an opto isolator to pull the ATX power line low from the Pi.
[12:04] <gordonDrogon> or an open-collector driver transistor.
[12:04] <sine0> i just saw a forum post
[12:04] <sine0> and it was basically that, an opto isolator
[12:05] <gordonDrogon> good idea.
[12:06] <xser0x> Hi! I know that I'm not first whom ask this question, but it's possible to run xnu kernel on RP 2.0 model B?

[12:06] <gordonDrogon> xser0x, why not ask in a xnu forum/mailing list, or just google it?
[12:08] <xser0x> I google it already but don't found answer
[12:08] <gordonDrogon> first hit in google: http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=52718
[12:08] <xser0x> (sorry for my English. I’m Russian)
[12:08] <gordonDrogon> I think the answer is "probably, but it's not going anywhere".

[18:26] <Kanerix> Then yeah, that's very busted
[18:26] <gordonDrogon> why are you overclocking that much anyway? If it's just to see what it can do, then fair enough, but if you have applications that rely on it, then maybe the Pi isn't the right platform...
[18:26] <gordonDrogon> I've never tried more than 900.
[18:27] <gordonDrogon> Actually, not true - I got one to 1000 once, but it wasn't stable and it was 2.5 years ago, so I know stuff has improved, but I've never bothered.
