[1:07] <Tirili> How can I test my headset capturing what I say on raspbian?
[1:10] <netw1z> using blue tooth?
[1:14] <Tirili> I don't have that.
[1:14] <Tirili> I have a sennheiser pc230 headset.
[1:14] <Tirili> Which has a green and a red connector.
[1:14] <Tirili> But the raspi only has 1 audio jack.

[1:18] <Tirili> I see

[1:40] <Tirili> Do small usb hubs consume extra power?
[1:41] <Tirili> I mean do they need an extra power supply?
[1:41] <Mogwai> Tirili: Yup, you definitely want a hub with its own power supply
[1:42] <Tirili> That will exceed the 3.5W of the raspi.
[1:42] <Tirili> Thanks for your help :)

[22:19] <cwong2012> intothev01d: oh i guess that would be nice. watch it on the phone..
[22:19] <intothev01d> i have a nas and the whole dlna for it sucks, otherwise my tv could find the files (it supports dlna)
[22:19] <cwong2012> ah.
[22:20] <intothev01d> its just nice to control with the phone. i can watch movies etc with another app i have that will load it from the nas
[22:21] <intothev01d> so question regarding this. on the raspbian image with xbmc, it just loads xmbc on startup. is there a way to exit back out just to raspbian itself?
[22:22] <cwong2012> i see.
[22:22] <intothev01d> or is that how its supposed to be. i'd like to just use it as a desktop basically then run xbmc when i want to watch movies and stuff
