[13:16] <trismegistis> Hi everyone! First time here. I was wondering if anyone thinks this is possible:
[13:16] <trismegistis> setting up a rpi to be a wifi/access point that uses an existing networks inet to connect to another network instead of LAN. Any idea where I could learn about a proxy/vpn/access point?
[13:17] <trismegistis> Basically like a remote vpn access point rather than a wifi extender, a remote wifi vpn type of device
[13:19] <trismegistis> Well, I found something: http://www.securewirelessworks.com/RAP-3.asp?gclid=CjwKEAiAgvyxBRDmuviAj67g-XQSJABTLMcHaIG1ZAt1gtsVozaoOwvdBFLrf0cOH8QYYcymosQ5nBoCUqTw_wcB - Looks amazingly expensive, maybe I'll compete with some of you guys for the market one day :P

[18:26] <harrycheese> Hello... Can someone running raspbian jessie be able to help me with what's there in their /etc/apt/sources.list file
[18:26] <diederik> Shuush: specify 'release=jessie' in 'installer-config.txt'
[18:26] <Shuush> diederik You think it will be sufficient? It is from May and is 70 commits behind too.
[18:26] <harrycheese> I am looking to install weaved service on my rpi but I am running osmc
[18:27] <diederik> Shuush: yes, it'll work
[18:27] <Shuush> I used to run Arch, even now they have it ready compiled 3 Nov.
[18:27] <Shuush> Its just that the updates arent good for the RPI SD card
[18:27] <Shuush> at all
[18:28] <diederik> it will install the latest versions of the packages as they are available now
[18:29] <diederik> it retrieves the packages to install from the internet while it is installing the system, thus always using the latest versions
[18:29] <Shuush> Well, since the installation of wheezy went smooth would it be okay to just add release=jessie and no other options to have it install the default.
[18:32] <diederik> not entirely sure what you mean, but if you change /boot/installer-config.txt and then 'mv /boot/config-reinstall.txt /boot/config.txt' and reboot, it'll reinstall the system but then with jessie
[18:32] <diederik> https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst#reinstalling-or-replacing-an-existing-system
